Patreon stand bye

Hello everyone,

Already a very big thank you for your support. Many people here supported me from the first month, and stayed until the end. Not only that, but your participation was often active, with comments and small follow-ups that are good, like a kind of little café with which we come to share our work a little more intimately than on social networks.

As I warned some time ago, shipping costs in Switzerland have completely changed, making the viability of patreon and tipeee complicated. But it's not just that.

I made a big point at the end of last year and I took the decision with my spouse, that it was more judicious to return living in France (in Lyon) for financial, family and professional reasons. Human isolation hurts me and I need to have contact with other professionals in the artistic field. Right now I have the impression of inbreeding myself in my work, my mind... The absence of conventions has reinforced this feeling.

Finances.. I would hardly speak about it, the standard of living is extremely high and therefore very expensive in Switzerland. Covid has weighed heavily on my mind, on my finances and a number of factors are pushing us to redo a cross-border move. I hope to be able to give myself more "real" holidays rather than taking forced day-off to rest. Those make me feel guilty and it no longer recharges me. Fortunately, the kickstarter was a success and will allow us to make these changes more calmly. Its success also encourages me to change location, which will greatly facilitate the logistical support if I wish to do another project (not on the administrative level however, France is a bit a hell universe for administration).

On top of that, well, I'm starting a transition, which is a whole lot to manage in itself. To that add the comic which remains my priority, the kickstarter whose big part is to come (shipping!!!)... and therefore even without the change in shipping costs, I would have had difficulty bringing regular and exclusive content on tipeee and patreon (it can be seen with my delays in recent months).

However, I really see this stop as an intermediate situation; I intend to take it back when we have moved (so not before March 2023, and I don't think before July 2023 even to be honest...), which will also give me time to prepare my work organization, and therefore the management of the tipeee/patreon as well, and its future content^^
