Morning all, so while were still setting up, today im going to tell you a little about my current production setup. I currently use Ableton 10 as my DAW and what i use nowadays is pretty simple and i dont branch out and use loads of different programs when im writing i use alot of the inhouse plugins (Glue compressor, Delay, reverb, Utility) but for now this is a list of my 3 party plugins (Plugins you you can use in any DAW) that are essential to me right now and where you can get them.
- Xfer Serum VST (Bass VST) (Top left in pic)
Serum is my go to bass synth, has been for years, i will be doing alot of tutorials around it and giving away bass patches
*You can purchase Serum Straight up from Xfer OR you can rent it monthly from splice.com
- Fab Filter Q2 (EQ Plugin) (Middle top)
Users of 1 i suggest updating to 2 or 3 due to its visual update gives you a deeper visual look at your mix, its a serious workflow update where you can fix sub and bass issues in seconds rather than minutes however its not essential
*You can purchase as a bundle or separately from alot of places or rent fab filter Q1 from Splice.com
- Supercharger GT (Compressor) (Bottom right)
- Not a well known native instruments plugin but a real soft compressor i use on alot of on my bass, its just preference, i like the way it sounds.
*It was free for AGES (Which is when i nabbed it) So Listen, im not saying you should illegally download it, but what i am going to say is that it was free for along time so alot of sites have it. You can buy it legally on native instruments site.

- Valhalla Reverb (Reverb FX) (bottom left)
They have a great range, i personally use the vintageverb the most, i love the way it trails off as you turn it up, not alot of reverbs have this level or smoothness out the box.
$50 Dollars on the Valhalla website
- OTT Compressor (FREE) (Compressor) (Top right)
This is a free compressor plugin from Xfer who created Serum, its free and its as good as any soft compressor out there. (When i say soft, i mean its not hardware, its software, this compressors a beast there is nothing soft and fluffy about its power
*Xfer website or Splice.com for free
These plugins are not ESSENTIAL it`s just what i use and you`ll probably see them alot in the coming tutorials and guides. We`ll go into more detail soon, this is just a heads up on what i use, if you want to use them to. P x
