Of course, not dad notices this too and forces the two together during a long drive as a test, while he watches closely from afar. Upset over the results of that drive and having a kid mistake him for a grandfather while shipping Ying and Xunyu, not dad begins unraveling more and more. Even going as far as to tell the official Mrs. Du that he's only with her because he has to be. But just as the not so happy family returns from their trip, not dad is giving a death certificate that forces him to question Xunyu's identity. After a trap fails to expose him, not dad loses it more while Xunyu and Ying push him closer and closer to the edge.
