Jia puts on the special eyeglasses and gets a glimpse of her tragic past life. When asking Yeon about it, he doesn't even try to deny it, clearing hoping to take a step back to keep her safe. Though he doesn't go too far, either watching from afar or having his friend do it for him. While clearly missing Yeon, Jia goes on a deep dive about past lives and stumbles across an alarming recording from her childhood. Rang pushes the serpent king to make a move against Jia in order to hurt Yeon but the serpent king denies him, saying that she will be his bride. By the end of this one, some lady in green (seriously, who the heck is she?) shows up and traps both Rang and Jia in life-threatening situations from their past that could take them out if Yeon doesn't save one of them.
