A slight tweak to the weekly schedule!

We'd like to try something out!

Short Version:

Starting March 7th, we're going to try changing Wednesday's regular episode slot to a "Free Space" slot. This will be a place for sampling new releases, trying interesting indie games or just playing whatever else Dan happens to be in the mood to try that week!

Longer Version:

Big thanks to everyone who voted in that poll yesterday and left so many detailed thoughts in comments! It's very helpful having such clear feedback from our regulars, and it is now VERY clear that complete playthroughs are a favorite around here. I kinda figured that was the case, but good to have it confirmed!

Of course, a lot of folks also mentioned enjoying the occasional one-off or sampler week, and a few of you pitched some really neat ideas for how to make space for them. So we thought: WHY NOT, let's just try one of those ideas out!

To make room for some more weekly variety, we're going to try turning Wednesday's regular slot into a "free" day for trying out new games or just playing whatever we're in the mood for. This could include:

While this will mean one less day per week dedicated to the "primary" Monday-Friday ongoing series, it will allow us to dip into a far more games than we have been! And having a dedicated space carved out for random one-offs seems like it'll be fun.

But hey, if we eventually decide this isn't a good change, we can always bail on it!

If you have any questions (or ideas for things you'd love to see pop up in this magical new weekly slot), let me know! And thanks again for all the feedback, it really does help!

Dan

Comments

Short list: "Guacamelee!" or "Guacamelee 2!", "Death Squared" (Watch the trailer on the Switch store. The best terrible trailer ever.) "Moss: Book 2" (Coming soon)

TargetBoy

Saw this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQKb1DtUUaY) that explains WHY Lady Jingle was having trouble getting move swap glitches and other such things to work. Seems the idle animations are slightly different and that causes.... issues. Enough complications that it takes 20 minutes to explain apparently. So, Dan might have been doing it right...
