Hey, everybody! Just wanted to give a quick recap on this past weekend's Seattle comic con and thank you for your patience with videos as we collapse back into our [new] regular schedule.
We got a LOT done while the 3 of us were together (for the first time!) -- a "Rise of Sin Tzu" gameplay video, a "Critters" episode commentary (tried to get to "Static Shaq" too; didn't quite happen), and a group podcast were just the tip of the iceberg of new content coming your way.
The highlight of the weekend was managing to snag SIX brief interviews with DC Animated Universe artists: Amanda Deibert (B&HQ sequel comic), Brianna Garcia (B&HQ storyboards), Christopher Jones (JL Adventures, YJ/YJO comics), John Delaney (JL Adventures, Adventures in the DCU), Ryan Benjamin (Batman Beyond comics), and Todd Nauck (Teen Titans Go comic, late 90s Young Justice comic). Ok, that last one isn't actually DCAU. But it's close enough.
Since we know everyone's wondering, we did our best to nail down an interview with Batman/Terry McGinnis voice actor Will Friedle, but it ultimately didn't pan out on-site. It's not impossible we'll be able to work something out over the phone, however, like our usual podcast interviews. Stay tuned...
We also sat down together and brainstormed a bit for the 2019 "Legacies of the DCAU" issues and how they will fit into the broader picture of the series. Plus we wound up coming up with a couple new ideas for issues down the road that are going to be really fun!
Oh. And we took some new headshots, sampled above. They good.
Thanks again for being patient with us throughout this whirlwind of a weekend, and thank you SO much, as always, for supporting the Watchtower Database time and time again. We literally could not have made this trip happen without your help, and it's continuously overwhelming how amazing it is to have a group of fans like yourselves who care THIS MUCH. Words cannot describe our appreciation.
If you haven't already, be sure to join in on the Discord chat we've got going right here: https://discordapp.com/invite/95fZVUb
