BIG UPDATE!

I will be moving from Patreon → SubscribeStar beginning on March 1, 2023.

I started my Patreon page a little over 2 ½ years ago.  Since then growth has been slow, but consistent.  I want to start by thanking everyone who has supported me here because I would not have been able to continue this work without you.

However, Patreon has continued to evolve into a questionable company year after year.  The following issues have gathered up into a pile of problems that is impossible to ignore:

• The limitations on NSFW subject matter.
• The extreme overreach of their Terms of Service concerning other platforms.
• Arbitrary enforcement of their purposefully vague Terms of Service.
• Ever increasing fees while not creating any additional value for NSFW creators.
• Bending the knee to payment processors at the expense of creators.
• The consistent disconnect between their alleged values and their actions.
• Demanding creators give up more and more of their privacy with each passing Terms of Service update.

It's been clear for years that Patreon relies on NSFW creators while doing everything they can to make it increasingly difficult to survive on the platform.

Despite what I've said, I don't hold any grudges against Patreon.  They are free to do what they will with their company, just as I am free to take my money and fans elsewhere at my own personal risk.  

I just want the freedom to explore themes and make art without the constant fear of arbitrary retaliation every single month.  I don't want to be on a leash no matter where I go.  I want clear rules if I am expected to follow them.  I want more features if they demand more fees.  I expect people to say what they mean, and mean what they say.  I want the option to retain my privacy - which we all deserve; not just creators.

I have known almost since the beginning of this page that this day would come.  I weathered the storm long enough and I gave them enough chances and enough of my money.

I know it is an inconvenience, but I would like to humbly ask that if you support me here that you take the time to move your subscription to SubscribeStar (or pixivFanbox) when your current subscription ends.  I depend on you all to keep moving forward.  I will provide links at the bottom of this post.

If you choose not to move with me, then I want to thank you for all of your support up until now.

Notes:

• I will continue to upload finalized art via Direct Message to patrons after the move for as long as I am able, but the timeline will not be updated after Feb 28, 2023.
• All other rewards and content such as polls, WIPs, PSDs, high resolution images, character suggestions, community support, etc will be moved to SubscribeStar (or pixivFanbox if you so choose) beginning on March 1, 2023.
• If you have rollover rewards from the previous Patreon model (you know who you are), you will be required to migrate to SubscribeStar or pixivFANBOX to retain those rewards on March 2023.
• The community Discord server will be taken down on Feb. 28th and a new community discord will be immediately created with a fresh invite link provided on the new platforms.
