The track that will eventually become Cum Zone IV is already in the works. This is a challenging process. There is so much I need to learn about sound design, composition, and mixing before I will be able to complete it.
In particular I have spent a lot of time studying the sound design techniques that Infected Mushroom use. Most of these sessions end up in frustration and failure (It's not easy to find a tutorial for "How to create that one sound that goes FLBRRBRRFLBRRROO") but occasionally it'll result in something cool.
The files attached to this post are what I consider to be the better results of my work. A few of these files contain elements that I may actually use on the final track!
BOOSI & UH-OH
These tracks started as shitposts using voice recordings I received from friends. The goal was to practice some of the vocal manipulation techniques that Infected Mushroom commonly use. The main plugins I used for these sessions were Gatekeeper, I Wish, and Manipulator.
Kick & Bass Study
To create good psytrance you must first create a good kick and bass, and just like art, the best place to start is reference. For this particular file I studied the kick and bass used on the track 'Head of NASA' by Infected Mushroom, and I have studied many other tracks since. I learned a LOT during this process. The main plugins I used for this session were Kick2 and Serum.
Kick & Bass & Percussion Test
This is a direct continuation of the Kick & Bass test. I purchased a vast library of cinematic and orchestral percussion sounds that have been an absolute life-saver. I can say with a fair degree of certainty that these sounds WILL be used as a basis for Cum Zone IV.
Zone Pad
I wanted to try and create some more ambient sounds in the style of Infected Mushroom. This sound was created entirely using my voice. The main plugins I used for this session were Manipulator and Valhalla Supermassive.
Gatekeepa (alternate outro)
This was the original ending I created for my full-length track, Gatekeepa. Unfortunately this didn't quite work with the rest of the song. The plugins I used for this session were Manipulator, Guitar Rig, and Serum.
If you haven't heard Gatekeepa yet, you can pick it up here for free:

Semen Lead
Here I was simply playing around with a melody that I had in my head. I tried out a whole bunch of techniques and ended up with something that sounds pretty cool. I don't know if I'll ever end up using this, but I figured it was worth sharing. The main plugins I used for this session were I Wish, Manipulator, and Guitar Rig.
That covers most of the interesting stuff so far. I do have a few more experimentations in the works, but they're not quite ready to be posted here yet. Thank you all once again for your support. I would not have been able to afford half of these plugins without your help.
