Puppy Serves Her Mistress
Added 2025-03-30 16:11:24 +0000 UTCHi everyone, I've got a fun flashfic for all of you to enjoy, and there's a 7k story that my friend Kate is helping me edit that will be ready next month. Basically I saw a lot of progress January and February on my wrists, but then my roommate threw out their back at the start of March, and having to take over all the cleaning and driving and taking care of the cats slowed me down. Hoping to make more progress again next month now that they're better.
The flashfic is about a villainous Mistress who begins to suspect her loyal pet Puppy of betraying her, but Puppy is quick to point out how silly and impossible that would be. Just a fun short filled with ego stroking, gaslighting and tables being turned. Enjoy!
I've started using voice to text to try and write but found out very quickly it's not going to be useful making final stories. It's good for getting down raw words for very rough drafts and I'm going to be using it to make outlines. The problem is that it's a slower process, a lot more frustrating, and it requires almost three times as much editing as my normal process. So I promise I'm working on stuff but it's going to be slow getting stories out. I'm aiming for a story each month and I've got a rough outline for the next IRF chapter that I'll be working on in April. I'm at the later end of recovery for tendonitis, the pain is gone which is great, and now I just need to rebuild my strength without hurting the wrists again. So it'll be slow and steady but progress is being made!
