The character gradually gets more detailed. We need more irregularities, corrosion and scratches on the metal! But no frills now, half a day was spent only for optimization, otherwise even at this stage the number of polygons is already more than 60 million faces.

That's the work completed! I'm quite happy with it, I didn't even have time to get tired working on this cutie~
I liked the glitter from the Rarity project so much,  so now I want to put it everywhere!

I received several orders for models for printing, and one of them is a beautiful princess of the night in cute socks!

As for the previous work with Rarity. I seem to have reached a dead end with it and the result doesn't really suit me, so I'll postpone it for now.

And another interesting news, last week I relocated to Serbia! After a year spent in Turkey, I finally feel "almost at home". I plan to return to making figurines in the near future, and I have already managed to get some of the equipment for this!

Backstage from a virtual photo studio. It's so hard to adjust the lights every time!

Initially, I just wanted to achieve more interesting reflections in the background, but then something happened and I built a whole studio around Rarity and her stone background.

Current progress with Rarity. I haven't worked on it much these days, mostly studying shading and fabric simulation. The material for her dress turned out to be interesting, I'm even thinking about how I could create something like this in reality when painting the figurines (I hope I will return to creating figurines)

It took me quite a lot of time to create this hairstyle, more even to search for something unusual, a special image for Rarity. I didn't use her regular curls at the end of her hair or the style of equestria girls. Instead, I added my so-loved ponytail! 

Her hairstyle will still be slightly refined, but I think not much.

I haven't made people out of ponies for a long time, I'll work a little in this direction. I'm not very good at creating humans, especially faces, especially anime faces. So there will definitely be no anime faces. I want to work out a stylized face and create some interesting pose. I decided to choose a very stylish character for this. I plan to make at least two versions, in some luxurious evening dress and in beautiful underwear

Couldn't resist the idea of playing with a virtual camera again. I don't understand much about this, just to familiarize myself with the different features of the program.

I've been thinking, maybe make a YCH out of it? Maybe someone besides me will like this idea for art or a model. And I could get some money for it...

So big ponytails... Everything is as I like it here. Complex geometry, intersections of objects and problems with where to put her ears. But I'm having fun working on it!

Angry Yellow (Posey WIP)

Another pony from the voting. I don't really like this character in the 3D netflix series. But in short episodes on YouTube, I like her more. Mostly because of these funny moments where something is happening to her all the time. 

The idea came from episode 56, where an excited Posey wanted to throw a tomato at Hitch. I thought about how it might look if she could still get back for the regular jokes on her and would be able to throw tomatoes at someone. I also like her look here. Maybe you don't know, but I really like double ponytails! 

I hope this idea will turn out to be something harmonious, beautiful and fun!

The second place in the voting was taken by Сute Pipp with a pillow! There are already some ready-made renders here...

I was thinking how to cut it for printing so that it would be possible to print the pillow separately. The solution came by itself, the pillow can be cut in half, and the folds will hide the seam!

Also with the latest news about Misty, I thought maybe I could make a second version of the model with her? Remove the wings, change the hairstyle, add a horn and change the pillow to a plush unicorn bunny... It doesn't seem like it should be such a difficult task, but I still don't know how best to make curly hair for Misty. And of course, there is a problem with the pillow again - the plush bunny does not have any clear seams. 

Maybe I shouldn't dwell on it, and it would be best to make another model for Misty with different hooves.

The Fluttershy print files have already been uploaded via the link in the pinned post!

There are several variants of the body with and without ropes, with scratched cutiemarks and pupils and without them. You can print a version without ropes, and later tie your own, it should be easier than placing a bunch of supports on rope files. You could even add ropes to the back of her legs and hang her on the ropes!

It took 15 hours to prepare the models for printing, due to the large number of versions, despite the not so big differences. Not the most enjoyable and fun time at the PC...

Finally, all the variants of the model are finished and all the pictures are ready!

I've reviewed her mane, Fluttershy definitely should have a longer one! 

There was an idea to put something in her, or at least put it next to her. But I decided to drop this idea, it looks good as it is! Especially if you place something next to it, it is advisable to make a stand, but I like the idea of leaving it without any stand.

The work is progressing little by little. I plan to make at least two versions of the mane - for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. The second one can be changed for Derpy.

I decided to slightly change the publication of files for printing. Now I will upload the archives to a shared folder on the cloud, and the shared link will be in the pinned post.

An additional option for stand

I would have already posted the files for printing yesterday, but the idea of changing her stand did not give me peace of mind. I thought about the idea with a heavy base for a book holder and a version for not only the corner placement option on the shelf. And I got a bag chair! There was an idea to place something under the carpet, but what turned out looked bad.
