i think cid is warm, while shadow is cold. it kind of feels like his persona makes him much colder, but not necessarily evil, it's more he takes the path that makes him think he seem the coolest. He definitely wouldn't harm any characters he has interacted too much with i think, he would think it'd be cooler to save them than to betray them in most situations.
