In Juliet defence who can she talk to apart from Monroe, Rosalie, Nick and the Captain. They are the only people who know what's up. Even if she does not believe the unbelievable, she can't go to her friends. They'd be unable to even try to give her counsel. As evasive as Monroe is and understandably so, he at least is a better person to go to than her friends who'd think she is going crazy. Desperation makes you seek help from anyone. :)
