TLM: Accuracy of Energy Equation

This is for those who have completed 4 weeks of the diet as laid out in The Leangains Method.

Compare week 2 average to week 4 average and consider expected weight loss versus actual weight loss. Example:

Week/average weight

Week 1: 100

Week 2: 99.5

Week 3: 99.2

Week 4: 98.5

Assuming an expected weight loss of -0.5 kg/week, we can see that reality matches expectations perfectly here. Two weeks is expected to yield -1kg and so it does in this example.

For the purpose of this poll, a +-20% deviation means 'Good.' In the context of the example above, this means 0.8-1.2 kg would be considered Good.

Anything else is either too fast or too slow. Per the example above, 1.3 kg would classify as too fast and 0.7 kg would be too slow.

Important: It's crucial that the following conditions are fulfilled before you take part in the poll.

* Please take adherence into account if entering the poll. If you know you fucked up and went off on a binge one day, that disqualifies you from partaking in the poll. Nothing prevents you from entering, but it corrupts the data and makes it much harder to draw a conclusion.

With that being said, would you say your rate of loss has been...

Here are my averages after 4 weeks. Never missed a day recording weight. Followed diet to a “T” and it was super F’n easy. Only 500k cal deficit. Now I’m down 19 lbs in 4 weeks. Week 1: 221.6 Week 2: 217.45 Week 3: 213.6 Week 4: 209.58

W4-W2 I lost 1.0kg, 350kcal deficit since I'm under 10% body fat (as suggested in the book), I forgot my scale at home and lost 2 days of weigh-in. IF with 3 meals in 11h (unfortunately my schedule doesn't permit me to have an 8 hour window); 55% protein daily protein intake, 25% carbs and 20% fat
