Added 2021-01-02 21:33:55 +0000 UTCI came across this beautiful little lake in the mountains by accident, I tend to take roads that are off the beaten path and this one looked promising. The road winds through the canyon, surrounded by golden aspens and mountain peaks that tower above you. The best time of year to visit is fall before the leaves drop for the winter. The road leads you down to a small lake, surrounded by mountains and perfect for fishing. If you keep following the road it comes up to an off road path that winds around a smaller bog/pond area that is perfect for picnicking, reading, or relaxing. Further up you’ll find hiking trails all through the canyon.
