great episode guys. on the topic of rappers using final fantasy music... what sprung to mind immediately is this Wiz Khalifa track that essentially just puts a trap beat on-top of a song from Chrono Trigger, and I believe he has other songs with Chrono Trigger samples as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phWoiyfA8ls on a different note, back in the day this rapper used a sample from the end of an Opeth song and he failed to provide credit and got bullied by nerds from guitarforums to the point that he amended the youtube track title with "(S/O to Opeth)" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EXh-mXaGHE
