So I've got notification about this art & post being set to "visible only to me" because 'the 18+ guidelines are not met' - what kind of new rule is that? I'm utterly confused.
They said I should change face features and resubmit it to Patreon team so they review it and permit me to publish it on my page so patrons can see it. Oh..
First of all, all of that is my own art, I'm not using any photos or editing stuff... I draw everything by myself, line after line, but hence their warning says even 'likeness' cannot be 'inserted'? (again I don't insert, I draw, but whatever), as I understood, apparently Patreon is trying to fight off NSWF fanart on RPS... which is puzzling me.
This is to respond why I preferred to censor faces by covering eyes (if you ask me why I do it). When I wrote earlier that it's becoming tough for NSFW artists to survive, that's it. We're always getting censored, now even on platforms like Patreon, even when we share privately. I really start to wonder where else I can share my art if not patreon.
My other accounts or posts and uploads were getting deleted for "sexual content"... Yesterday my Pinterest was suspended for "nudity & sexuality" but when I appealed then they restored it and all my pins were messed up. I'm not quite upset but definitely demotivated.
I'd lie if I said I'm not tired of the constant, everyday reports along with attempts of some individuals to hack each and every of my accounts... it's just ridiculous how people waste the time of their life to hate on others, instead of... maybe trying to do something better, because there's already much greater problems in this world than NSFW fanart.
I wish people could differentiate between fantasy and reality. I mean art is where you put out your imagination, your creativity, where you have freedom to express your passion.
I have no idea how NSFW art can harm anyone, especially if it's shared privately... I mean people write fanfics using other real people's real names and descriptions, but explicit fanfiction is allowed, right? (It was rhetorical question, I know). I guess fanfiction is a free speech. I used to read fanfics about celebrities for many years and have never thought it's a problem... to think about author needing a permission from idols & celebs to write it - is ridiculous. In the same way fanarts are created for fans and only, not celebs. Imagine using someone's name in fanfiction should be with person's written consent? Like, there are millions fanfics... and million fanarts too. I'm still confused why did I get that notification at all.
I would really love to continue drawing TK fanart as long as I can, but oh, it's getting harder day by day. I'm deciding to try other ways to censor my art just to keep creating freely and share with you all. Hence, I warn that I might change some face features, definitely cover eyes, maybe change other body features... cause that's getting crazy how artists are getting censored.
Anyways, that was it. Sorry for my English. I hope you understand and won't worry about me being down and apathetic, I'm literally fighting to stay strong ♡
