ScoreSaber 3.0 Release

With Beat Sabers 1.13.2 update it's finally time to release ScoreSaber 3.0.

For those who don't know, with the help of our new UI developer Auros, ScoreSaber 3.0 is the PC plugin recoded from the ground up with a completely new UI system, dozens of new features, bug fixes and enhanced performance / security.

The UI

Leaderboards

Leaderboards have undergone several changes. Instead of cluttering up the base games UI, your global ranking and the leaderboards ranked status have been moved into their own separate panel, status notifications will popup from behind this panel like so

The replay buttons have been replaced with an info button, clicking these buttons will open a new dialog displaying expanded information for the given score.

The button in the very top right of the score dialog is where the old replay button has been moved to, clicking the button to the left of the replay button however, will bring up the players ScoreSaber profile (clicking their name will open their profile in your default browser)

Lets head back to the new panel above the leaderboards. Clicking your rank will show your ScoreSaber profile in-game as shown above. Clicking the ranked status text will open the leaderboard you're currently viewing in game.

However, if the ScoreSaber logo itself is clicked, it'll bring you to ScoreSabers main menu, which we'll now cover.

The Main Menu

The main menu contains ScoreSabers large team of volunteers, along with their social links along with an in-game implementation of the global leaderboards. You can now view the top players in the world, the players around your rank, your friends global ranking and of course your countries rankings.

Clicking player names will also bring up the profile dialog shown earlier. Clicking the question mark in the top right of the global leaderboards panel will give the player a basic understanding as to how the ScoreSaber ranking system works.

Bug Fixes / Improvements

Oh, and crowns have finally been given to the winners of the first ever Beat Saber invitational held back in mid 2018

I can finally breathe

A huge thank you to everyone in the ScoreSaber community for being so very patient. Hundreds of hours has gone into this update, and without your support it wouldn't have been possible.

With ScoreSaber 3.0 complete, speed of the development for the PPv3 project and new.scoresaber.com will increase greatly. The team and I can't wait to show you whats next.
