The worst for me is when Giles picks the thing up because I REALLY don't like spiders and it wiggles just like one =:O I also love the casual way Cordy leans over, grabs a metal bar, and smacks Buffy in the face lol Joyce can be not so great sometimes but I also appreciate that from her perspective what's she to do? Buffy is always in trouble and doesn't seem to have great grades. Although maybe she shouldn't be telling the librarian that her child is a burden. It's easy to forget, but they barely know each other. Which is weird, because as you say, they both care deeply about Buffy and her safety.
