Shawn, I’m sure you won’t see this (not your crew, you) but I think you are a very important person in society. You truly are giving a platform to people who need to talk and to people who don’t even see the way you do. I’m not a fan of. Newsome but I respect the rationale you gave to bring him on the show to discuss issues. And the psychedelic treatment is a prime example! I do believe you are a pivotal figure in American society and I hope you continue doing Gods work by bringing people to your show so they can truly speak freely about problems and solutions facing the world today. I'm supposedly a Boomer and I get that a lot of the old folks (former hippies, who still think that world was real and good) are the problem and I have to say I agree. My mom who died at 94 years old, 3 years ago taught me to question authority and to dig deep so that's what I've done. I see though that many of my cousins, friends, acquaintances, neighbours who are older than me are completely closed minded. Not all, but many. I try to keep the peace. I have admin-ed Facebook groups and chats where I found so many disagreements turned into personal attacks and fights. It was my role to make peace and give people another chance and then maybe another and another, People are complicated, where it's actually simple, but I think that veneer of being complicated makes them feel smarter than everyone else. Usually when I wanted to reply to a ridiculous personal attack in a negative way, I stopped myself and told them. "I still love you" Usually I got no reply but they stayed in the group. I think that is kind of what Shawn keeps saying, "set an example". If he could host Newsom, and by example steer him into doing something good for people, (vets especially) then yes; example and peaceful dialogue is the way. Before we elected vice presidents on a combined ticket, whoever won the election was the president who was ever the runner-up was the vice president. Early in our country we did have the opposition functioning in the same administration. This isn’t without problems, of course, but I think it forces people to work together.

It was actually a perfect set up for Michael Shellenberger or Victor Davis Hansen to come on and tell the truth. It’s a good thing you had Newsom on, so that when he runs for president, there is endless material to rake him over the coals with.

Psychedelic therapy is great, but do you know the shithole he’s made of California Shawn??!! There’s a reason you don’t go to California!! You said it yourself! You know who represents the unwashed "middle" is actually Donald Trump, this is why activists on both sides have fought him, lied about him, and cooperated to demonize him. Mitt Romney referred to the "47%" on each side of center and how the 3-4% in the middle determine an election. The Good Book says that two people can't walk together unless they are agreed, but neither party agrees to do what is best for the country because they are all paid off. This is how we ended up trillions in national debt.

Some of the trolls/bots had stirred up 500+ people to reply. I find I’ve got to stay close to God’s words and wisdom to help me notice the difference in today’s imploding society.
