Love this interview thanks for putting it out there. The way he thinks and the stuff he did man he is my hero from the military. He did all the stuff I wanted to do with the Corps but he did it on the army side and it one of those you regret it wasn’t in the cards for you but you can see how it could have messed me up as well. I am glad to see he kept his head through it and didn’t let it affect his life and family like you see others. Thank you for your service seriously Semper Fi you are a rarity nick.

This interview has moved me in more ways than one. The detailed accounts of Nick’s service and life to the spiritual being side. It has really opened up my mind and perception of things. I hope to meet him one day to thank him for that. We all are in our “own” world doing our “daily” tasks and I have an awaken feeling now. Life is to short. Live and be a good person. Help others. I have struggled with spirituality and my purpose on this earth for quite a long time. Shawn is an excellent interviewer. He never tries to overtake the interviewee. He sits back and listens and guides the interviewee to help tell their story.

2024-07-20 20:47:18 +0000 UTCNick’s story is incredible and was some of the most riveting I’ve heard on the show. We need to discuss his comments on “and I said you will be gods.” It’s true. Christ quoted this from Psalm 82. But the psalm is a message from God mocking the corrupt judges of Israel. It is NOT a literal statement of “you’ll be a god.” Isaiah 43:10 “Before me no God was formed nor will there be after me.” Isaiah 44:6 “I am the first and the last, besides me there is no other god.” Isaiah 44:8 “Is there a God besides me? I know not any other.” Why is this important? What you believe about God and Christ and what the Gospel is the only core parts of Christianity that can save you. If you have a false God, Christ, or Gospel, you cannot be saved.
