Here we have Charity trying to invent some special potions, but things don't quite go as planned. Alchemy is a very delicate art, and it's very easy to make something backfire horribly, and Charity's going to have to learn that the hard way.

Just a funky little feature of the household rules - the older girls get everything first and stuff gets handed down from there, and with only a single bathroom for the six of them to share that wound up getting interpreted as extending to the bathroom too. So it's basically just tradition that managed to get established and just kinda stuck because it works well enough with the situation they've got. Technically, there's nothing really keeping it that way, it's just what they know and it's hard to break old habits like that. And, yeah, Silver's seen crazier things than that, and she's well aware that if she asks her sisters to explain something they're doing, it's probably gonna be a lot weirder than how it looks so she's content to just go along with it and play the big-sister role as if nothing's unusual.

2022-08-20 05:41:20 +0000 UTCI also really enjoyed this story. I like that Silver didn't even want to know what happened, but will still help clean up. I have a question why would Charity have to ask her sister if they wanted to use the bathroom first?
