December 2024 - Smudges, smudges everywhere!
Added 2024-12-06 19:50:46 +0000 UTCHi folks!
The Phantom's sensor chapter is progressing slowly but surely. I had to re-write a few sections since I wasn't pleased with the initial draft, which was too cumbersome and lacked any sense of cohesion. It's a tedious process to always return back to the drawing board, but I really want to get it right, especially when it comes to radar operation. It's always a struggle to find the right balance between theory and practice.
I am very conflicted about what method I want to use to present all this information. I've seen great tutorials by many different sources and content creators, but the format never really seems to work for me so to speak. I guess I'll have to find my own way, for better or worse.
Hopefully, the end result will make the life of DCS WSO's easier.

Well, Heatblur just has so much to cover in various mediums (video, text, in-game training missions, etc.) that I wouldn't expect them to be able to cover everything all at once. Flyandwire's website and youtube videos are really, really good, for instance.

2024-12-13 03:53:06 +0000 UTCI imagine this will be one of the most complex chapter of guide. So many variables and a fair amount of theory that needs to be conveyed to the reader. Thank for the update!
