Hi folks!

I have finally wrapped up the F-15E air-to-ground weapon section. We dig in deep into JDAM (GBU-38, GBU-31, GBU-54) and JSOW (AGM-154) territory... and air-to-ground gun runs for good measure.

At first, I thought of doing something simple as I often do with JDAMs... Targeting pod designation, weapon release, and Bob's your uncle. Imagine my surprise when I realized that every weapon had somewhat different procedures depending on what sensor is selected (targeting pod, sequence point, air-to-ground radar) and what sub-mode is selected (WPN MEM vs CC MEM). That... and sometimes having to correct coordinates/elevation data. Much coffee was sacrificed on the altar of flight sim gods. That's about 70+ pages worth of GPS-guided munition procedures alone. This time, they really put in the "smart" in "smart weapons"!

The horror...
