This was a super fun double header on Black Friday '24, and this matchup between two young go-hards was a great capper. This is one of the first times Ive seen Jacobs (if not the first) and he certainly impressed alongside the rising Knight, who has been featured on a couple of GCW shows and always shows out.

This is my second ETU show (first was in Newark, where I hope they'll return sooner rather than later) and both have been a lot of fun at a very solid price, featuring some great talents like Key to the East Champion (and WWE ID guy) Marcus Mathers, the always great Mike Santana, GCW standout Brandon Kirk and more. Here's a little taste, with Masteria's "Gangster's Paradise" as the soundtrack. Every wrestling fan needs to go check out a Bloodsport show - it's the OG (at least stateside) for this style of wrestling, and you can see the impact its made on other US promotions (Raw and NXT come to mind). It's also become a bit of a Forbidden Door experience - this show featured wrestlers currently on AEW, NXT and TNA, and previous editions have featured main roster WWE performers as well. Front row seats are hard to come by, but if you can snag one - DO IT! It really is special to get that close to this kind of action.
Finally, check out any show - wrestling or otherwise - at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City: easy to get to via PT, beautiful venue, great sight lines (for wrestling at least) and bartenders make a solid cocktail.

i have been to all but one of the grand slams, and for the sheer experience, it was hard to beat the first one.
it was a difficult time for me personally, and I wasn't sure I was even going to go to the show. to walk in the place, feeling as low as i could, and then get struck by the energy of that packed house - sufficed to say, after danielson-omega, i was feeling a lot better.
every grand slam has had its epic moments - mjf chompin on samoa joe; nigels entrance; eddie beating claudio - I was grateful to have captured some of them and im excited to share them with you.
