Most of you that are used to western jets have typically three Master Modes to deal with: Air-to-Air, Air-to-Ground and Navigation. The Viggen is very similar in that regard, but it goes a bit further by adding two different Landing modes (LANDN NAV, used for instrument approaches, and LANDN P/O, use for visual approaches), a Standby Mode and a mode specifically designed for reconnaissance missions (SPA, for Spaning, swedish for Reconnaissance).
