Progress update

Welcome back to another progress update all, and the last one before our next release!

Scene production is now finished, we're now just waiting for the rendering to finish while the existing scenes are ingested. Fingers crossed we can get everything rendered in time. There's also a couple scenes with rendering errors that needs to be fixed, hopefully I can also squeeze those in too.

So what's left to do? Here's a handy comprehensive breakdown -

Rendering scenes
Fix errors and re-render as needed
Ingest all art assets into game
Work into the branching paths
Playtest, playtest, playtest!

Most of these should be done by Monday (our deadline), but I'll like to take a couple more days to playtest, sorry for the slightly delay! It should release sometime next week.

What's next

As usual, next up is the release of v0.17.1

This should contain the music, sound fx and animation.

Then following that, v0.17.2 will contain some grammatical fixes and other QoL (quality of life) features.

Of course, writing for the next chapter has already started, and that'll be continued be worked into over the next month.
