Yes, Meosa, the cantankerous water spirit from War Priest. Seven years ago, I wrote a series that never really saw the light of day and one of the supporting cast members was a water spirit named Meosa, who traveled around with the MC commenting, being a pain at times, but also coming to his aid.
I have always wanted to use him as a character, and almost did in Way of the Immortals, but he just never fit. Until the idea of War Priest came along.
I like writing sidekick characters, it seems. I try not to, but perhaps it is the curse of the very first one in my catalog, Meosa. He is different than the others, but even if you may have read the others long before you opened up War Priest, there is some precedence here!
