A 2nd Class Return to train games…and a bit more.
Added 2023-12-16 11:20:12 +0000 UTCI think it’s fair to assume that most people aren’t here for video game reviews but I fancied a bit of a change this week. Hence this review of the latest plug and play train simulator imported from Japan - followed by a comparison with a two year old console variant.
I’m amazed that I managed to salvage this video in the edit. While it’s still by no means the greatest production ever, what you see now is positively Emmy-winning compared against how I felt this one was going to end up. Initially there seemed a very good chance it would have to be shelved.
I’ve also made a second video this week, one I’ll most likely release unannounced on a non-monitised channel.
It’s just a few tips about my car. The video is so far removed from my typical output, it would only cause problems if it went out on the channel. It was a brief diversion to the days of being able to make videos about whatever was occupying my thoughts.

2023-12-31 22:23:55 +0000 UTCUnrelated to this video, but Techmoan or anyone else who has a MovaGlobe-- my globe has developed a north polar bubble (not polar vortex) and does not spin anymore. I have had it for several years now, but last several months has sputtered to a stop and will not spin. I have tried the paperclip thing they mention, etc. but will be sending for repair. Techmoan or MovaGlobe others, is your world still turning?

Otherwise it’d be odd putting out a Christmas video on the 30th December when it was due to come out if these had been in sequence.
