Destination Poll

Happy New Year, adventurer!

Having emerged from the exotic and the frightening, we thought this time around we'll bring the polls back to places safe and cozy - to the type of place your everyman adventurer encounters at the beginning of their trying times. Some of these we have already down in the past, but we're confident we can find new ways to expand upon them, and to update their style!

As usual, you can pick as many as you like, and we'll work on the two with the most votes. Happy voting!

--

Coastal Town: It's the medieval carribean! Some ships are nestled in the port, some rum is quietly smuggled between warmly lit windows. The inn is in shambles, run by the local pirates, and half the buildings are part warren, part illicit operation.

Conquistadors : A Spanish town paved with plazas and the aristocratic conquerors of new lands. Red gables form a labyrinthian warren of houses, all overlooked by the gardens of their masters.

Vineyard : A sprawling Mediterranean place, full of farms, silos, servants' spaces, and burnable granaries.

Traveler's Encounters: A series of small-encounter maps. Things like forester huts, witch homes, little abandon farms, roadside banditry, and things to pass a traveler's time between location.

Mansion : Yes, once again. This time, a multi-roomed, multi-chambered, basement and aerie affair.

Gothic Mansion: It's the mansion, but gothic and nosferatu, with much stained glass. *(The votes on this one is combined with the medieval mansion, as there is only one mansion - we'll do whichever has more votes)

The Black Markets: A series of lively and seedy marketways, tipping into brothels and disreputable inns, with the occasion cultist's idol for sale in a menagerie of wild and fanciful spaces.

Polls close a week from now!

Comments

Black Market would be very helpful, I feel like merchantile and municipal structures get ignored by a lot of map makers.

Marianne Rogers

There are a lot of Coastal Town maps around, how about Conquistadors?
