Actually looking into it, the buccaneers have never drafted a bust at wr under Jason Licht and they haven't drafted a bust in the secondary since hiring Todd Bowles who brought in Nick Capone and Kevin Ross as the safeties and cornerback coach, Antoine Winfield Jr Carlton Davis Jamel Dean SMB Jordan Whitehead Zyon McCullum Christian izien Mike Edwards Tykee Smith, even Parrish and Benjamin have looked great this year, literally every single DB drafted by these coaches have found success and he's one of the longest tenured defensive playcallers in the league at this point

2025-10-12 04:31:57 +0000 UTCThaddeus Lewis has been the buccaneers QB coach all 3 seasons with Baker and it's not talked about as much because Bowles runs a bend don't break scheme so we allow a lot of passive yards, But the only DBs Kevin Ross has failed to develop for Tampa was Vernon Hargreaves who just wasn't an NFL athlete and MJ Stewart who's still playing as a career backup, the next worst talented DB he's worked with was SMB who heavily contributed to the ring so I would really argue that every single DB Kevin Ross has worked with played to their maximum potential
