Communication about an issue I had with Patreon recently ❌
Added 2023-10-24 10:22:03 +0000 UTCSome people might have noticed/heard of it, but I had some issues with my previous NSFW drawings appearing too childish for the platform's Trust and Safety staff on Patreon so I had to remove them. While I understand some of the complains I'm not totally agreeing with them and find it pretty unfair since I know many other artists on Patreon also draw characters petite without any problem..
On top of that, they also don't want SFW childish characters to appear as my Patreon is NSFW, so even my safe-for-work drawings of the girl eating at Macdonald and Ui had to be removed, even going as far as banning any drawings that contain school-references. Since I always intended to use Patreon to also share my other works as a diary/log, this will obstruct that reward or make me intentionally avoid drawing/sharing those contents.
I personally hope I can continue to have some artistic freedom to draw my characters the way I want, without of course falling in the extreme childish type, but that might come to a term. I'm still waiting for an official reply and will make an update about my Patreon when everything is clarified.
