2025-10-10 17:49:28 +0000 UTCI've always thought that because Baku's stance of no bullying and no fighting is so much the opposite of Baek-jin's philosophy, it makes Baek-jin feel like he's inferior to Baku. Like Baku is on this "high road" pedestal and is a better person than him. So by forcing Baku to fight and do illegal things it makes Baek-jin feel like he's pulled Baku back down to his level?? And that's why he wants Baku in the Union. He has more control over him that way and he feels better about himself. Also maybe a little part of him wants his childhood friend back.
