The Kaban Project, originally featured in Collected Visions in 2007, is a prequel to Mechanicum, featuring many of the same characters, and that sets up the situtaion on Mars.

2024-04-02 14:41:05 +0000 UTCMisread the email subject when it popped up and thought it said Kanban rather than Kaban -- so I just assumed the Mechanicum are into simple-but-strict JIT manufacturing methods; which maybe makes sense
