Last Tower of the Mage Lords - Land and Sea Versions
Added 2025-01-05 16:57:53 +0000 UTCThis map is now available in two alternate versions: "aviation-free" and "enhanced moisture." I don't know how much use the sea version is going to get, but I thought it would be a cool thing to come across in the middle of the ocean.
It does feel a little awkward to have drawn a map called the Last Tower of the Mage Lords and then make two more towers of the mage lords, but it seems like the kind of lie people will forgive. After all, there are sixteen Final Fantasy games out there and, if there's one thing they aren't, it's final. Hopefully, whatever it is that lets them get away with that applies to me too.
Next up, I'll be drawing one last alternate level for the Stygian City: the aboleth lair. This will be much more complex than the other three and it'll probably have two floors. Before I started drawing the Stygian City, I was considering making this the "official" bottom level, but an aboleth was sort of the main bad guy in the Black Loch, so I decided to do something different. Still, I think it'll be a cool option to have, so I'm going to draw it.
