You’re the only YT channel that I genuinly get excited for when I see you have uploaded. I always learn something new about fashion when I watch your videos, but more recently you started throwing some philosophy at me that leaves me shooketh, after you started aiming for quality over quantity videos. 😂 I still remember the first time I watched the video where you explain “the shock of recognition”. That was the day I joined the Patreon, and I haven’t looked back! I first found you when I was 15 (I’m 18 now) and confused as HELL abt fashion, but wanted to understand why people looked at a cdg show and got hyped or why someone would cry at a martin margiela show. I probably wouldn’t have found my place in the fashion community if it weren’t for you. Because, if you go on instagram you are expected to mindlessly like the runway shows “because its art, you wouldn’t understand”, or go on Reddit where it’s the same shit different stink where people only wear niche brands and try to be as different as possible because that’s how they feel better than everyone as opposed to wearing flashy expensive brands. The nonexistent social ladder a lot of people try to climb has always been annoying to me, which is why I loved when your answer to “how do you know if a garment is cool or not?” was simply asking the audience if they like it. Also, your personal style video is the only one of hundreds of other people’s I’ve watched that had any value to it. 😭 Every personal style video I’ve watched besides yours dances around the question like a politician and never actually concludes to anything. Omg I just wrote an essay. Thank you for reading if you got this far! ❤️ 😂

We did not know we would be interviewing her beforehand and I was told that I would only have two minutes with her. They graciously extended our time by a couple extra minutes, but there is nothing in that interview that didn’t make it to the public video that is worth hearing.
