I perhaps overestimated my time management skills and underestimated my complusion to tweak just one last detail, over and over again.
One thing that definitely slows me down is scope creep and dialogue/narrative but I also feel these are things that can enhance a sequence greatly, so here's what I'm proposing...
I want to continue the story of Jewel, and have a bunch of ideas swimming around, but can't I do em all. What I'd like, if folks are keen to play along is a sort of rolling caption contest that would run as follows;
I post an image (perhaps with title)
You comment beneath with a caption, dialogue or paragraph of descriptive text you feel fits the image, nudging the sequence in the direction you want it to go. Feel free to make it as long or as short as you like
OR you 'Like' another's comment to cast a vote.
I then add the dialogue to the piece then begin work on the next page in the sequence, taking cues from the text.
As much as it's my goal to honor the wishes of the crowd, I'm gonna reserve the right to have final say as not every suggestion may be suitable/possible/within TOS etc.
Does that make sense? Did I explain it clear enough?

2023-12-10 02:20:29 +0000 UTCI appreciate the input. Advice from a fellow creator is always to be cherished. I understand doing anything by committee can become unwieldy but we're a pretty small crowd in here currently. I may well regret these words, but for now, I'm still welcoming the captions.

2023-12-09 15:15:50 +0000 UTCAs someone doing bimbo stuff myself, I think getting too much suggestions about where a story should go for an audience is not the way. You can ask for a prompt and base the story around that instead. Be decisive, know what you want with a story and stick to that.
