Important: EA Mods Policy Update + Poll

First thing first, in August my content will remain Early Access as this is what you all have paid for. From September, any Sims-related content will be available to public straight away. However, I am still evaluating my options.

Now, I would like to thank all of you, wonderful people, who chose to support me on my creative journey over the past few months! You didn’t have to do it, yet you decided that my work was worthy of your hard-earned money, and I couldn’t have been more thankful for this! It helped me pay all sorts of bills and subscriptions that I need to deliver high quality alpha content for the game. I am also grateful for all the amazing friendships I was able to form and all the kindness I have seen since day 1 of becoming part of The Sims community. This is what kept me going up until this point.

No, this is not a farewell post. This is not a threat either. Right now, my intention is to continue doing what I enjoy doing so much. But I also need to be heard.

My content has always been accessible – either free or early access. I have never openly asked for any support, and, as stated earlier, I am eternally grateful to my patrons, current and past, who chose to do so despite having so many other options to spend their money on. Because of YOU I would like to continue. I also would like to keep my content available to people who genuinely can’t afford contributing anything at this point in time – for whatever reasons, it’s none of my business. But they need to show some respect.

I have been choosing to stay away from the drama, but, of course, I have noticed how toxic and ignorant this community can be. Never in my life have I seen people (who work hard to make something better) being trashed and disrespected like this. Their work being completely devalued. Imagine being at an art-shop and witnessing an artist explaining to a customer that they have to pay for the painting they like - they can’t just take it home. So, to all the people celebrating free cc right now and choosing to support a big and heartless corp who is swimming in your money yet can't deliver a single bug-free update - well, good for you.

I will now be honest and admit that I will need your support to keep going. My bills are growing, and my salary can’t keep up. Right now, I have a comfortable situation where my work is flexible enough for me to have time to dedicate to content creation and building. Patreon has been a great source of side income and helps cover most of my subscriptions while allowing me to have a dream second-job. I need it to stay this way.

If my work is not good enough for the Sims community, I will move on. I would hate for this to happen as I love creating and building - but I am a human-being and have real expenses to meet.
