Centuries ago, Myers' home planet, Britan produced a truly beloved singer remembrancer. It's true that because of the benefits and training allowed to those who serve a decade in the guard, Britan has actually produced many fine artists, writers and all sorts. But none have reached the planetary and interplanetary renown of the one they call their first and favorite sun.

Myers doesn't actually care that much for these now traditional musical stylings but as a male of Britan it remained customary, by peer pressure if nothing else to know how to perform, and perform well, at least a couple of these songs.

For Myers, it is now a party trick. He feels the lyrics are dated and the singing style maudlin but his girlfriend, Wesk, loves it when he sings. So he does.
