I really love your explanations! And since I can understand Korean, I agree the way the members were talking this ep was so unique haha. Also Seungkwan Jeonghan Scoups Mingyu they're very good at sports. Also on topic, I had seen this ISAAC clip and DK is soo good at archery! Wow. He broke the cameras by hitting bullseye. Also the confusion in this episode was that during the game, in english subtitles, when the member spoke english it was translated to spanish for the differentiation. Luckily since I can understand Korean to some extent I relied on my listening skills more. Though one thing find it pretty amazing how you knew the Slam Dunk character names both in Korean and Japanese/English ver. And with so much other stuffs too, you have such wide knowledge which is amazing!~ Thanks for this reaction! ------------ And for future I would love to see you react to Going Seventeen Debate Night because I feel I can learn a lot from it!~ Thank you ^^

I actually hate the idea of replacing the English words by Spanish words in this game. They made the translations 10 times more confusing for a lot of people. You speak Korean so i guess it didn't affect much but i've watched other reactors who don't know Korean and Spanish, and they seemed to either believed SVT were really speaking in Spanish, or they thought there was something wrong with the translations

I suggest for you to check out ‘going seventeen’ as its their own variety show, and usually goes by different concept/ genre (sport, games, skits, healing, horror, etc..) and it usually have 2 episode/concept. You can watch it seperately as it usually unrelated, but if you watch it by episode, you can see their comedy sense improved by eps, lol. I like 논리나잇 (Debate Night) the most, it has 3 season, each season 2 episode, basicly its full of korean puns, so I’m proud when I can get the puns as I’m not a korean, but there are some cultural reference that I think you can help explain to us more. I’ll share the link of the first one. https://youtu.be/9O2D9K7l-FU?si=uF_kp08ywN3WQVV- There are episode with games like 돈't Lie series ( its mafia games with money involved), 불면제로 (basicly the member try to sleep while listening to other member roasting them 😂), the Ad-lib series (SVT got tallent or Going Company) - where basicly they only given character w/o script and has to make the whole skit imprmptu.. There a whole lots of concept and episode as it has been on going for 5 years. You can make a specific vote on episode/concept to see which one too, but I def suggesting Debate night as your first one 🥳

Hi! I was the one who mentioned 3-2 last time. Just to clarify though, it's not that the majority were actually confused or didn't understand what's going on. It's more on we're confused why they chose to do the subtitles that way... Also, my curiousity has been quenched :) You haven't noticed the 'Spanish' thing the whole game so that answered my question. You only found out about it once the game was over and found it freaky too, that actually made me laugh lol. They been putting 영어 as Spanish throughout the game and when the members say: Shoot=disparar, Nice=bueno, member=miembro, change=cambiar, etc. I think if you're Korean, it's natural for you to just listen to them and read the original captions instead of depending on the subtitles, thus the different choice in the subtitles won't bother you much. Unlike international viewers... It was also easier for people like me who's learning Korean for the same logic.

I don't know if you realized at the end but they actually translated everything that they said in english to spanish during the whole basketball game, it was not only that part at the end which is why I think some people where confused when this episode aired. I believe the idea was for english speakers to notice quickly whenever seventeen said something in english, because if they are translating korean to english they needed to translate english to something different(? not sure haha but yeah, a lot of people found it confusing. My first language is spanish so for me it was just very funny

Svt in the soop or Hybe game caterers would be good! Though there are 2 full seasons of in the soop and hybe game caterers is also like 10 parts so they're really long. For shorter recommendations, there are some going seventeen episodes that are really good: ep 31/32 Best Friends, ep 23/24 Tribal games, ep 37/38 Bungee jump, ep 14/15 Planting rice and making bets, ep 58/59 Good Offer

Yeah! I totally get you. It was done to highlight and differentiate the specific english words that trigger the score reset from the rest of the translated korean in the captions (since the whole thing would be written out in english anyway) but the idea to replace the english words with spanish seemed to confuse a lot of people. They probably should've just used a different colour or something!

I think the spanish terms were used for the english captions to emphasize that they used english. I'm not sure if i'm making any sense lol. But I got confused on my first time watching it because I thought there was an error with the captions so I tried watching the episode with spanish cc and there they used plain english on the english words.

Just more Going Seventeen pls. There's the choice of starting from the beggining or doing random requested ones tho. There's also a recent youtube show with SVT on Nah PD's channel as well, where they just hang out for dinner post-"Youth Over Flowers" filming. They've grown quite close with each other now. Could be a good short-term option too.
