If you haven’t gotten yours yet, you should have gotten an email updating you on your order. You WILL get it, so promise me that when it arrives that you will give all the other non-supporters a chronic dose of FOMO. Deal?
So what’s on the agenda today? Space King’s progress has been full steam ahead! The animatic has been finished and our designers have been pumping out props and poses for the cartoon like crazy.
So today, I wanted to show off the designs the Space King squad has been bringing to life as we prepare to animate this monster of an episode. Take a peek at what they’ve been up to!
A lot of different guns that are much too frail for a Psycho Warrior’s massive hands.
Demonic eating utensils. Good for.. I dunno. Deviled eggs? Shrimp diavolo? Something devily.
Some of the different bombs designed for the episode. Some of them look like they’d kill you even if they don’t explode.
The “Gayest Psycho Warrior” medal of honor. Who on the squad deserves it the most?
A fat stogie that Hatemonger will put out on Chestnut’s head. Or eye. We haven’t decided.
We also have a lot of special poses being made! Special poses are drawings that help the animators pose the rigs accurately. What are the characters actually doing? You won’t know without context! How important is context? I don’t know, take a look at the big burly naked men below and figure that out for yourself!
What could POSSIBLY be the context here? Place your guesses below! Gay guesses will result in a ban.

WOW! I love looking at special poses. It’s like a sneak peek on what some of the important moments of the cartoon will look like. Especially the ones with Captain and Bryce’s cocks flopping around. Those are super important.
That’s all the Space King updates I have for you today! As you can see, Episode 5 is still a ways out, so be patient, Brothers! Patience is a virtue, so if you have no other virtues, let it be that one. But don’t worry, there’s always the Tom and Don channel to keep you busy while you wait! And boy, do we have a great episode for you today!
Today’s episode is about Why Humans ARE The Good Guys in Warhammer 40k! There’s been a lot of debate on how there are no good guys in 40k, but if you’re a human, you know that’s the WRONG ANSWER and you are a TRAITOR if you disagree!

BROTHERS! Welcome back to the sacred sanctuary that is Flashgitz Friday: A place where the passage of time is welcomed and embraced.
What has the passage of time brought us this week?
UPDATES! Lots and lots of precious production updates! The kind of updates that make your toes curl until the knuckles are white. Sorry, that sounded better as I was writing it.
First update: the lunchboxes! It looks like a lot of good little boys are getting their lunch boxes in the mail. It makes us all over here at Flashgitz very happy to see you all posting your photos on social media. Keep posting them and let everyone else know how much they missed out! We expect another bulk shipment going out next week, and a final shipment of lunchboxes to be shipped early February. Everyone waiting to get their order will receive an email with an update in the next few days!

With that out of the way, it’s time to get onto what you’ve come here for: SPACE KING 5 UPDATES!
This week, Space King 5 has been having its animatic finished up. There were certain spoiler-ridden parts that needed to be gone over with a fine-tooth comb, but we’re finally getting the bow put on top. But just because we’re focusing on the animatic doesn’t mean the other departments get to GOOF OFF.
In fact, backgrounds and assets have been putting in a lot of design work, but with a toon as big as this, there’s still a lot more to go. Take a look at some of the submissions we’ve been getting and just take a look at the massive scope of episode 5 so far.
An absolutely MASSIVE “chamber” that’s bigger than a hundred mega-churches.

A design for an extension Don’s going to build onto his house. Turns out, we can just bill the background department for whatever we want!

Give the background department a big hand because this isn’t easy. Have you ever tried drawing a train? You have? Have you tried it past the age of 25? No? Thought not.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m getting pumped up for this episode. This is going to be our biggest episode yet you’re going to want to be there for it. So strap in over the next couple of months and watch as this develops into something that’ll make you wet yourself. Know what really sucks though/ I have to wait just as long as you guys do to see the finished episode!
Oh well, at least we always have the Tom and Don channel to tide us over until then!
This week’s video on Tom and Don is about ranking each of the Space Marine chapters! Some Space Marines are cool and some are stupid. Which are which? It’s a good thing you have your good friends Tom and Don to tell you!

It looks like it’s been a great week for Space King fans! A lot of you seem to be getting your lunchboxes after what probably felt like an eternity. We’ve been getting the tracks greased up for episode 5, which I’ve mentioned before is VERY ambitious. This week, we’ve been continuously working on the animatic, buffing out all the scratches and knocking everything into place. It’s been a process, but the level of detail we’re spending on this episode is well-worth it. As you can see from some of the screenshots below, we’re so dedicated to this episode’s quality that we’ve even had a 3d model constructed of the episode’s train.

In all seriousness though, I hope all you beautiful Brothers had a great Holiday and New Years. The break was exactly what we needed in order to prepare our assholes for the brutal fucking that is Space King Episode 5. Apologies if I sound crass, but it will be bloody.
Much of our staff took some sort of a break over the last two weeks, so this week we’re starting anew and getting the schedules in order so we don’t kill ourselves trying to make this beast of an episode happen. But don’t worry little chud, for I still have some delectable Space King images for you to goon to on your own private time.

Now for your holiday themed update! Space King episode 5’s production is going well! The team is like a well-oiled machine at this point. It’s no doubt going to be our biggest episode yet, so luckily we already have the best of the best working tirelessly on this episode.
Unfortunately, we can’t actually enslave our beautiful little workers (it’s “illegal” apparently), so many of them are taking the holidays off before we hit the ground running in 2026.
But before they left me alone in this cold dark office, they left some of the things that they were working on! Since you’ve all been extra good boys this year, I’m going to reach into my fat sack and show you some of the great things we’ve been working on over here for Space King 5!

Space King Episode 4 - Kingsmas Dropped last week! How did you all like it? Pretty fucking good right? Keeping Rudolph’s big nose a surprise was a challenge, but keeping his voice actor a surprise was even harder! Teehee I knew everyone would freak out.

Space King 5 has been in preproduction for a little while now. The script is written and the animatic is mostly done. We’ve also been working on a lot of designs for the backgrounds and the different settings within the toon. People are shocked that episode 4 is releasing less than three months after episode 3, and I just want to take a moment to reiterate that it’s because of YOU, Brothers! Brothers! Welcome back to Flashgitz Friday, your central hub for keeping up with the finest in the autistic arts. I bet you’re wondering what kind of jaw-dropping, eye-popping, ball-twisting updates I have for you today!
But before that, a victory lap! Space King 3 has hit 6 million views! This is a huge achievement, brothers, and it’s barely been two months! Thanks to all of you, who spread the good gospel of Space King.

So – Where are we at with Space King 4? Have there been any bloody Liveleak-style accidents at the cartoon factory? Quite the contrary! Space King 4 has been coming along great!
Right now, we’re finishing up animation and have moved on to the VFX and compositing phases of production. We’ve got a lot of lights shining on the characters and some beautiful smoke effects. It's starting to look like a finished toon, boys! We only have so many things to complete before we have the final toon. Are you getting excited? Was Space King Episode 4 on your guys’ Christmas list?
You’d better be good, because if even one of you is naughty, we’re cancelling Christmas!

Brothers! It’s finally here! The moment you’ve all been waiting for! FLASHGITZ FRIDAY!
That’s right! Healthy and educational production updates shipped right to your phone and/or computer! If you’re still at work on this wonderful Friday, now would be the time to pretend to use the bathroom so you can read said updates.

Boy have I got a slew of juicy updates for you today! We’ve been hard at work over here at the cartoon factory making the 4th episode of your favorite natural home-grown toon, Space King. Space King Episode 4 may be holiday-themed, but it’s not gonna be some limp-dick 8 minute Christmas special. It’s gonna be HUGE, and the speed we’ve been working at is possible thanks to the staff we’ve built up over the course of the last three episodes (the staff that your dollerydoos paid for! THANK YOU!)
How fast are we talking about? Well, I just received word through the antennae connected to my brainstem that all the clean lines for backgrounds have been approved a day ahead of schedule! And if we keep up this rate, the finished backgrounds will be done a few days ahead of schedule!
TL:DR WE’RE ON TRACK BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is great news because people like getting stuff on time. I know you do, especially since you’re the ones paying for it! Plus, we’d look pretty fucking retarded if we released a holiday episode after Christmas.
In terms of the actual animation, we’re in the middle of the compositing process for a lot of the shots, with many of them just being the lighting on the characters themselves.

I hope you all have exciting plans for Halloween, because I have exciting plans for you! Treats! In the form of tasty production updates! But in order to get them, you have to say “trick or treat!” as loud as you can at your computer/ mobile device. Ready?

Space King has had a bountiful harvest this year! Fan-submitted pumpkins as far as the eye can see! If any trick-or-treaters compliment your jack-o-lantern, make sure to give them a lot of extra candy. Play favorites! It’s what Space King would’ve wanted.
There were so many pumpkins that I couldn’t include all of them!
Thank you to all the Brothers who carved a psycho-lantern this year, and to those of you who didn’t, well… there’s always next year!
As for Space King episode 4, we’ve made a lot of great progress this week! Tons of shots have been animated and backgrounds are being submitted like crazy. We’re still hitting every deadline we’ve set for each department so Space King 4! That’s great news, in case you weren’t following. Even better news if you were here for Space King 1, 2, and 3 and realize how long those episodes took.
But I’m rambling. Take a look at a few of the finished shots from episode 4!

Alright enough chitchat. You and I may have something special going on, but the rest of the patrons are still wondering: Where the hell is Space King 4?
Space King 4’s production is going strong! Our different departments are either hitting every deadline or are ahead of schedule. If this all feels like deja vu, that’s because it’s been pretty consistent for the last few weeks. The whole crew’s working very hard, which makes us very optimistic for Space King’s future!
The future where we said we were going to start pumping out AI generated slop might not happen anymore. It’ll be HAND-DRAWN slop!
Well, calling it slop is a bit RUDE, innit? Because we have a bunch of very talented artists working to bring this series to life! But don’t just take my word for it. Take a look at some of the finished animation that slid under the door!

Bryce tries to coax the new guy to pull the fire alarm during their daily meeting.

Brothers! Welcome to Flashgitz Friday, where you can get caught up with your favorite internet creators (us) and get updates on your favorite animated series (Space King)!
What’s on the agenda today? We got Space King 4 updates, a peek at the Tom and Don channel, and some really cool fan art that’s sprouted up! But first, we need to take one final victory lap for Space King 3.
5.1 MILLION VIEWS IN TWO WEEKS! That’s like 9 times the population of Wyoming!
That’s right, Space King 3 has already reached 5 million views! This is no small feat, brothers! It’s your support that helped Space King become as big as it has, so thank you! And pat yourself on the back just for being here, in the Patreon penthouse!
Now, onto Space King episode 4!
Space King 4 has been making great progress, AS USUAL! All the different departments have been hard at work, submitting shots, sketches, and finished animation ON TIME! Making cartoons of this size and length is no small undertaking, but we’ve gotten better at it!
Because you’ve all been very good, here’s a little peek at some of the animation that’s been submitted!
The lack of dents in the new guys’ head bothers Bryce.
Landing gear is a little woke, but it’s better than having to draw a crash-landing every time.
Do Globules have an expiration date? Or do they only get better with age?
This is how freshly-baked Psycho Warriors are made. Smells like burning hair!

Backgrounds has been up to some very exciting things this week. A lot of lined backgrounds have been submitted, along with a few colored backgrounds! They’ve been working their asses off to make sure this toon looks stellar. A lot of love goes into the details, so don’t just blow past everything! ENJOY IT!

Brothers! Welcome to Flashgitz Friday! Every decision in your life has brought you to this crossroad. Every bug you’ve ever stopped on, every nut you’ve ever busted, and every slur you’ve ever said has nudged your destiny several degrees so that you’d end up here, reading this week’s Flashgitz Friday. That’s a pretty good destiny if you ask me!
Let’s kick off the blogpost with some good news! Since Space King 3’s release, the subreddit r/SpaceKing has nearly doubled in members!
We went from 20k members to nearly 40k in less than two weeks! Yes we use Reddit. So?
Yeah, yeah, I know. It’s Reddit. You don’t have to tell me twice. But think of it this way: Space King, something actually cool on Reddit, kind of cancels out the fact that Reddit is for limp-wristed perverts who watch John Oliver.
Now let’s kick off some of the production updates on SPACE KING 4!
Space King 4’s production is going VERY well. Some of the departments are on time, and some of the departments are actually AHEAD of schedule! I’m not sure we’re actually behind in any of the departments (knock on wood), which is something that I don’t think we’ve experienced so far during Space King’s entire run. It’s a blessing we could only have because of all you sweet and beautiful patrons.
So where are we at? Right now in the animation department, we’re knocking out a lot of shots. Take a look at some of the recent submissions!
