Day 17/18 Update

Hello.

How can you not like Kasumi?!

Anyway, the process of putting all of this together is going well. For Day 17, there's good news and perhaps slightly bad news.

I'm currently finishing up the Elysium scenes for Day 17. There's a small chance only one scene makes it to release in May, but by the time Day 18 arrives there will be a total of 4 added Elysium scenes between the two days, and those can be played from the Main Menu, so it is what it is. The Elysium scenes are ambitious!

That's the bad news.

The good news is that I really believe a release is happening before May is over. I feel good about my chances. Day 17 is pretty huge; each scene is a bit bigger than my average, so that's pretty cool. There's also something fun/unique in one of the scenes, I'm excited to see people experience it. Think the Culprit-Yoga scene with Paige in Day 9, only better (in my opinion!).

Here's the Day 18 news—it's got a lot of content, and I mean a lot. I'm also fairly certain it's got the most sexual content of any day in the game. I'll be trying my hardest to get that day out in June, and I suspect I will, but it's impossible to know right now. I feel my chances are good, but I felt I should post about it here and now, just in case.

I'm desperately trying to finish up the sound so I can get this game on Steam! It's really close.

I appreciate the increased support due to the anticipated release month; know that I'm working really hard at getting content out on this Patreon over the next few months.

How do we get access to the elysium game side of this?

brother ya gotta drop the words "Feel, fairly and certain" from sentences with deadlines 😂

I am going to be using some different methods upon Stranded in Space 2's release, but for now the problem stems in wanting all the girls to be represented each day and making sure to tell a cohesive narrative, given that everything's on a line to payoff on Day 21.

I've noticed quite a bit mentioned of amount of content within a day. With the variance it's difficult to maintain a predictable cadence. Does it make sense to granulate work differently? Release what is ready in a predictable time table rather than something as arbitrary as a game day? This style of SDLC processes often see a rise in velocity.
