Steam + Day 16 Launch News

Hello!

Here is some exciting news: I have listed Stranded in Space on Steam, and it is available to wishlist. I would really, really appreciate every single person adding the game to their wishlist. I will talk about this in further detail below.

This past year, I've put a ton of effort and work into Stranded in Space, but it has not been my main source of income or only job. That means the updates and workflow haven't been at their maximum potential—I work on this game as much as I can, but I have bills and financial concerns to worry about, of course.

This Steam release could very well change all of that, and it's all tied to wishlists. The more Stranded in Space gets, the greater the chance this game will do well on Steam, and if it does, I will put all of my focus into this world of AVNs. It will become my main job, and the truth is that I would love nothing more than for this to be the case, as I've truly enjoyed making Stranded in Space.

So...

If you could add the game to your wishlist, it would mean the world to me. I plan on posting this link in the game itself (on the pause menu instead of the Patreon link) and on every website that will allow it; I cannot stress how important this is to me. Big things will happen if Stranded in Space gets added to a ton of wishlists.

Day 16 news:

Everything is on track; there are no delays. To be clear: I plan on releasing Day 16 on the 21st - but it will likely be right at the end of the 21st (EST) because I like to polish the game till the last second. Either way, I have one request about the impending release, and it has to do with piracy.

I don't mind that someone is uploading my game to other websites; it's not that I love it, but it is what it is. It's part of the business, so I understand.

This update has a ton of new laptop stuff. It will probably have a few bugs that I will need to fix, so if you're the person who's uploading my game, I ask that you wait a few days so that I can fix any of the major bugs that this release will most likely have. The thought of broken versions of my game (that all need a different fix) being on various websites is the stuff of nightmares for me, lol.
