I’ve been practicing slightly unrealistic but still appealing body types. When I do figure studies, I treat Lou as my standard for a well-balanced body, and Ofelia as my standard for a more well-developed figure. On a less happy note, my account on X got search-banned (the account itself is fine, but it temporarily doesn’t show up in search results). It’s happened a few times before, so it’ll probably be lifted soon and the best thing is just to wait it out. Still, nothing happened while I was taking a break, and the moment I started posting again this happened, so I’m feeling a bit unsettled about it. In the meantime, I don’t plan to stop my uploads on Patreon or FANBOX, so you don’t need to worry about that side of things. 少し非現実的ではありますが、魅力的な体型の練習をしてみました。デッサン練習をするときは、Lou を「バランスの取れた女性の体型の標準」、Ofelia を「より発達した女性的な体型の標準」として考えながら描いています。 残念なお知らせとしては、X でサーチバンを受けてしまいました（アカウント自体は無事ですが、検索結果に出てこなくなる一時的な措置です）。何度かあったことなので、今回もそのうち解除される可能性が高く、しばらくは大人しく待つのが一番かなと思っています。休んでいる間は何もなかったのに、少し投稿を再開した途端にこうなってしまって、ちょっと落ち着かない気分です。 その間も Patreon と FANBOX の更新を止める予定はないので、そのあたりは心配なさらなくて大丈夫で

Since it’s the end of the year, I’ve been slacking a bit and my upload pace has slowed down. I feel like I should be honest about that and say I’m sorry. With the changing seasons I’ve been more tired than usual, and as several holidays overlapped I just ended up getting lazy. Lately I’ve been spending more time doodling than finishing pieces, and I’m working on a more combat-oriented (or showmanship-oriented) visual for the vampire. Dilemma

I draw in very low resolution — roughly one-ninth of what most people use. Normally, the illusion of richness comes from the interaction between the pixel-like pen texture and light brush strokes at low resolution. However, recently I’ve become interested in the clean look of high resolution, and a few of my unreleased pieces were drawn that way. The result, though, felt somewhat “empty,” as if the canvas had lost its substance. It makes sense — once the illusion disappears, only the pure brush and pen strokes remain. I’ve come to realize that achieving both the clean, refreshing feeling of high resolution and the rich, textured illusion of low resolution might be quite difficult. What do you think? I’d love to know which style you prefer — my previous low-resolution approach or the new high-resolution one I’ve been testing. +I’m also working on an SD version of the vampire character. 私は「とても」低解像度で絵を描いています。一般的な人の約9分の1ほどのサイズです。 通常、低解像度ではドットのようなペンの質感と軽いタッチが重なり合うことで、豊かに見える錯覚が生まれます。 しかし最近は高解像度の清潔で爽やかな仕上がりに惹かれ、公開していない数枚の作品をその方法で描いてみました。 すると、仕上がりがどこか「器が空いている」ように感じられました。 錯覚が消え、純粋なブラシやペンのタッチだけが残るのですから、当然のことかもしれません。 高解像度の澄んだ印象と、低解像度の錯覚による豊かさを両立させるのは、なかなか難しいことだと感じました。 皆さんはどう思いますか？ 従来の低解像度の描き方と、現在テストしている高解像度の描き方、どちらがお好みでしょうか。 +ヴァンパイアのSDキャラクターも制作しています。

This is Ofelia’s new reference sheet. I created a new one because there have been several visual updates. For Portia, the main changes are in the eyes and skirt, while for Ofelia, they’re mainly in the pants and casual (non-combat) outfit, along with a few minor adjustments. After I finish a few more drawings, I plan to create images for supporter tiers and update banner illustrations as well. これはOfeliaの新しい設定画です。 いくつかビジュアル面での更新があったため、新しく描き直しました。 Portiaの場合は主に目とスカート、Ofeliaの場合はズボンや非戦闘時の衣装などが代表的な変更点で、他にも細かい調整がいくつかあります。 いくつかのイラストを描いた後、支援ティアごとのイメージやバナー画像の更新用イラストも制作する予定です。

Within this month, I plan to write a post about my “future plans.” It will include how I intend to handle the short vampire comic (spoiler: I’ve decided it’s not suitable to continue as a comic, so it will likely be released in the form of illustrations and short stories). I’d like to work on something with an ongoing story, but since I have so many OCs, even if I draw just one per quarter, more than a month ends up passing each time. 物語性のある作品を進めたいのですが、OCが多すぎて、四半期に一度ずつ描くだけでも一ヶ月以上の時間が経ってしまいます。

The cape was partially inspired by Hollow Knight’s Hornet design, and as you may have already noticed, the shape of the eyes has been slightly changed. In addition, a detail has been added that the character wields two swords, using them differently depending on the situation. The hair has also grown a bit longer, and compared to the old sheet, the body type has become slightly more mature. Currently, I’m working on Ofelia’s sheet, and I plan to complete the sheets for Lou, Vamp, Vamp Sis, and the Maid by the end of this year. ケープは『Hollow Knight』のホーネットのデザインから一部影響を受けており、もうお気付きかもしれませんが、目の形も少し変わりました。 さらに、二本の剣を状況に応じて使い分けるという設定も追加されました。 髪も少し長くなり、以前のシートと比べて少しだけ大人っぽい体型になっています。 現在はOfeliaのシートを制作しており、今年中にLou、Vamp、Vamp Sis、Maidのシートを完成させる予定です。

Portia’s character sheet will be finished soon. I’ve also drawn a few pieces of Habin, and I’ll be doing more drawing practice. The season change keeps making me sleepy, so my work hours have dipped—but I’ll adjust soon and draw a lot more. まもなくポーシャのキャラシートが完成します。ハビンの絵も数枚描きました。これからドローイングの練習も増やします。 季節の変わり目でつい眠くなって作業時間が減っていますが、早く慣れて、もっとたくさん描いていきます。

I'm playing a silk song. Very impressive, I was inspired by the visuals of some characters and wanted to do a little bit of design modification. This is a drawing where I used a slightly forced composition because I wanted to show the forehead. Capturing the feeling of wind blowing through was more difficult than I expected. おでこを描きたくて、少し無理のある構図で仕上げたイラストです。 風が吹いている感じを表現するのは思ったより難しいですね。
