MMG21 Teaser, Mastodon tones + some text inside

Hey guys

1st of all - here is the final teaser of upcomming guide. This one is (or at least it should be) replica of Pantera's "Far Beyond Driven" album based on song "Strength beyond strength". Those of you who checked previous post already know that I got pretty close results comparing to original reference. Unfortunately later I found out that guitars have too much of low-mids ringy freqs + overall mix sounded little bit too linear. You can check it out in the attached "MMG21 untouched mix". Those artifacts was not so obvious until I applied my own arrangement to the template. So instead of having sort of useless parody to Dimebag's tone I decided to fix in the actual mix and then include this timbre fixes in the actual impulse responces, also added buss compression on drums and boosted overall loudness to the sweet spot (3 db more), so there is more chances for this to be used in modern production. Again guys, I'm not happy about this, but at least I like the mix now. You know, it's better to have something that actually work instead something useless but MORE KVLT. It's different (not really, but still noticeable), but it works. This guide will be full with them new tricks, everything gonna be completely new, so I'm gonna start filming right now and hopefully you'll see it in 3 days. Right after we'll go for Intervals template, then Defiler or InFlames.

2nd - as some of you already know I've had to cancel Mastodon template (that's why I used ROTNS for last guide).  Same reason. I found out that end result (in case of my arrangement) sounds very poor, linear and robotic. I know some of you waited for it, but believe me, it's better to leave it unreleased, it's really bad (not talking that Mastodon is bad, it's just my own fail with ruining everything). However I still think that guitar and bass tones can be used as standalone models, you will find them in the attachment as well.

3rd - not sure if I already spoilered it or not, but soon we'll have new podcast. I'm gonna show you process of actuall production of the song from the ground (minus pre-production, it's all about mixing routine). Unlike my MMG series - here you will be able to see the logic of building the mix, I'm gonna lead you trough the process and hopefully it will be much more educational comparing to MMG. All the instruments gonna be live and hope y'all asking me about mixing real drums will be happy :) Album will be released in 1 or 2 months if I recall corectly, then I'll be able to post this podcast.

4th - I think it's finally time to setup my  Goals here on Patreon. I'm not gonna force you to upper your pledges for that, it should be done by more productive work from my side. Here is few reasons why I'm gonna do this.
First one - my bass library idea. I will need to spend like 1k$ to hire the guy who will record it for me. Sounds like a lot, but I want him to be motivated enough, because it must be done in one session, one pass, there is more than 3000 samples. Not sure about Kontakt programmer yet. I have little idea on velocity-baced concept, so big chance that I will nail it all just by myself. So this "Bass library" goal will be like 1200$ (just to have some headroom and not to die for the month it will happens) (if it ever will ofc lol)
Second one - my PC is about to die soon. This machine served to me since 2012 and I love it, but it's geting harder and harder to use it for video production (I'ts getting harder and harder to film everything when I have to fix messed up video length so it fits the audio, I also even do proper real time editing without hell tonn of freezes, which is horrible when you've got like 90 minutes of raw photage). I'm plain to invest in new hardware (don't worry, it's only for work. The only game I play is Diablo II, you know, no need in much power for that), switch to windows 10 and also buy few plugins again because of the mess with authoraizing stuff (presented my second SSD licence to my friend like a year ago, and also lost my password for Revalver. Even though I still have USB key - I can't authorize it no more). So to sum it all up - it will allow me to stay safe in my work and also improve overal quality of my videos. This will cost me about 2k$. That's why I will need to add new rewards (don't worry, you will not lose anything, 1$ pledge gonna be always the same, it's not gonna go away). At the moment I'm thinking about lower price production of songs. It can be usefull for somebody who constantly do like guitar covers or stuff like that. So for 40$ per month (instead of regular prices starting from 50) you can expect complete mixing/mastering of the song. Bigger version of this may include pre-production of the song (fixing or writing arrangement from the ground), let's say 80$ per month or maybe less, I don't know guys, already feeling like a  douche  by writing it, so please let me know what you think about it all.
