A Very Long Summer

Hello Patrons. I hope your summer has been well and staying out of the hot weather.

So far my summer has been a mixed bag. On one hand, I finally have the time to relax and enjoy the summer break from my day job. On the other hand, the stress from my parent's overseas trip has put a mental hold on enjoying the most out of the summer. Especially with the ordeal of my dad leaving my mom behind at the airport "to buy sim cards" while she was handling tickets for their connecting flight. That was a scary situation and worrying signs of my dad's mental health. Of course, both my mom and dad are now back home. While nothing serious happened in the end, we're still waiting for future appointments with mental health specialists to diagnose signs of illness that require treatment.

So you could imagine how that entire event threw most of my summer plans out the window. I will have to, unfortunately, work with some adjustments to earlier plans, especially the illustration project with Ruby and Oscar going on an adventure in Menagerie. That may end up being a slow build-up instead of a summer-long goal. Fortunately, I have completed all commission backlog and returned to making progress on the BG3 illustration. So while I work towards finishing that winning poll, let's start a new brainstorm for next month's poll. No particular themes in mind, but try to keep RWBY limited and have other series in the running.
