So the great words my mother had for me today were, "sweetie, don't you feel you are a little behind everyone else, I mean you're going to be 20 next months and you haven't even started college classes yet." So I am currently applying for online classes at valencia for the spring semester since, I'm so far behind... at least Valencia is cheaper and my parents offered to pay for it, since it's not the school I wanted to go to and I can get the general classes out of the way and focus on my degree when I finally do go to UCF. I know this isn't sexual but, any advice?

Do it. She is right. Make a plan and stick to it. You need college for a good career and more money.

Sounds smart to me. No point paying through the nose for classes that transfer anywhere. Save the money up, get through the base classes and then be ready to go when the time comes for your actual degree classes :)

Had a friend who did something similar. He started at PCC and then finished up with a degree at UCF. Makes perfect sense. Plus, the general classes are usually large at a university like that and you'd rather have smaller classes.

diploma will have only the school from which you graduate.

Like Chris said above. You’re doing fine. Switching credits from the affordable school is awesome. The

You are not far behind! In a lot of the world its common to take a gap year before college. And starting things in this shit show of a year means you would not have missed much anyway. Doing GE classes and then switching schools later is smart, I think especially right now where you won't be able to get as much out of a "better" school since in person stuff is a mess. In my view the best take away from "better" schools are the fellow kick ass students you meet...but with distance learning....less of that will be going on right now. Anyhow, my advice is - you are doing just fine.
