The pair sat for a few long moments in contemplative silence. Scorpia continued to drive randomly throughout the city. Or, perhaps, it wasn’t random at all. They passed a chic condo building that Catra could imagine Scorpia living in with her affluent family, and a fancy prep school where Scorpia easily could have been enrolled as a student a couple years ago. Maybe this seemingly pointless trip was really a tour of the life that Scorpia couldn’t quite have.
