2025-03-11 20:31:06 +0000 UTCExcellent guys! Sailors tend to be somewhat superstitious about things. My dad was a merchant sailor for 36 years, and he tossed any excess salt over his right shoulder. No hats on the bed were a house rule. I can't imagine an experienced sailor climbing aboard after seeing the name of the boat. The boat wanted him to correct some transgression and he walked away a changed man. An unbeaten happy ending.
