This would expose the creatures to a non-persistent GB and a thick oily VX to wade through. They would respond with seizures, paralysis, cardiac arrest, coma, and death. Although environmental cleanup may be problematic, you have 3 months to complete the task. Hicks suggested they nerve gas the aliens before deciding on the nuclear option.
