"What? Oop-" Gloria gave an innocent shrug before remembering to hide the vial behind her back. "It's perfectly safe."
Servo clicked his gears with a whir of disapproval. "That sounds familiar..."
"I double checked my work-twice." Gloria stepped around her robotic assistant and continued on her way to the chemistry lab. "Happy?"
"No. And it doesn't change the fact that you're not allowed to bring outside chemicals into the lab." Servo whizzed ahead of her, parking himself right in front of Gloria's nose. "What if you contaminate something?"
"I'll be careful," she assured, trying to press past him. "I just need a few of the rarer compounds to stabilize this little guy." She waved the glowing vial at him, then tucked it into her lab coat. "I'm just uh...borrowing them. Permanently."
Something like a sigh escaped Servo as he followed Gloria through the doorway and into a massive facility that was every chemists' wet dream. "Remember what happened last time?"
That gave Gloria pause. She ran her hands along her green skin, the little pear freckles cascaded across her belly. "T-that...that time I made a mistake..." She chewed her lip and knit her eyebrows together, determined. "Now I'm going to fix it."
